SEPT. 13
Flight arrival.
Transportation on coach bus to Hotel in Evanston, on the Northwestern University campus.
Check in to hotel. Lunch at hotel.
12:30 pm Coach transportation to downtown Chicago. Guide will explain sights on the way. Arrival at the Museum Campus.
1:30 - 4:00 pm Tour museum of your choice: Field Museum of Natural History, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium.
4:00 - 6:00 pm Group photo at Museum campus overlooking Chicago skyline. Bus tour of other Chicago sights, including Millennium and Grant Park. Explore Navy Pier.
6:00 -– 7:30 pm Dinner at Riva Restaurant on Navy Pier.
7:30 - 9:00 pm Coach bus transportation to Walmart to buy items to keep in hotel room. Then go to hotel.
SEPT. 14
7:00 - 8:30 am Breakfast in lobby of hotel. Come when you like.
8:30 am Coach bus pick-up at hotel. Transportation to downtown Chicago, seeing sights on the way.
10:00 -11:15 am Architectural Boat Cruise on the Chicago River. (Leave from Navy Pier.) Learn about the architecture of Chicago'’s riverfront buildings.
11:15 am - 12:15 pm Stop at Macy'’s for souvenirs.
12:15 - 1:30 pm Lunch at Gino'’s East, Chicago'’s most famous pizza restaurant.
1:30 - 4:30 pm Enjoy Michigan Ave. and Chicago'’s Magnificent Mile. Visit Water Tower Place, 900 N. Michigan Ave., American Girl Place or countless other shopping venues, visit the Art Institute or spend time in Millennium Park relaxing.
4:30 - 6:00 pm Bus tour of Old Town and Lincoln Park.
6:00 - 8:00 pm Visit Goose Island Brewery for dinner. Enjoy a guided tour of the brewery by one of the brew masters and sample some of the craft beers, including 312 Beer (favorite of President Obama).
SEPT. 15
7:00 - 7:45 am Breakfast in the lobby of hotel.
7:45 am Bus transportation to Chambers Hall on the Northwestern campus.
8:30 - 9:00 am "Introduction of Seminar", Clarke Caywood, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Integrated Marketing Communications, Northwestern University.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm “"Our World in Crisis",” Clarke Caywood, Ph.D.
12:00 - 1:00 pm Catered Lunch.
1:00 - 1:45 pm Coach bus transportation to Walgreens Headquarters.
1:45 - 3:30 pm Walgreens corporate visit with presentation by Divisional Vice President, Corporate Communications, Walgreens.
3:30 - 4:00 pm Bus transportation to Beam Suntory.
4:00 pm Presentation by Senior Vice President and Advisor to the CEO, Beam Suntory.
5:30 pm Bus transportation to Benihana Restaurant.
6:00 - 7:30 pm Benihana dinner grilled at your table by chefs.
SEPT. 16
7:00 - 7:45 am Breakfast served in hotel lobby.
7:45 am Bus transportation to Northwestern University’s Law School (Rubloff Building, Chicago, IL).
9:00 –- 10:45 am "Introduction of Case" Study, Clarke Caywood and Jim Carey.
10:45 am Walk to John Hancock Building.
11:00 - 11:45 am Begin working on case study in groups.
11:45 am -12:45 pm Lunch at the Signature Room at the 95th, John Hancock Tower, 95th floor with view of Chicago and Lake Michigan. Sit with your group for lunch.
12:45 pm Walk back to Rubloff Building.
1:00 - 4:00 pm "“Innovation in Management and Global Business",” Andrew Razeghi, Lecturer.
4:00 pm Coach bus transportation to Walgreen’s flagship store.
4:30 - 6:00 pm Visit Walgreens.
6:00 pm Bus pick up for Andy’'s Jazz Club.
6:30 - 8:30 pm Dinner and music at Andy’'s Jazz Club.
8:30 - 9:30 pm Bus to hotel.
SEPT. 17
7:00 - 8:45 am Breakfast served in hotel lobby.
8:45 am Coach transportation to Harley-Davidson.
10:00 -– 11:00 am Presentation by Vice Communications of Harley-Davidson.
10:45 am - 12:15 pm Harley-Davidson Factory tour.
12:15 - 1:30 pm Lunch at Motor Cafe at Harley-Davidson Museum.
1:30 pm Coach transportation to Miller Coors.
2:00 pm Visit to Miller Coors with presentation by President and CEO of an independent beer division of MillerCoors, focused on craft and import beers.
3:00 - 4:30 pm Tour of Miller Coors.
4:30 pm Bus transportation to restaurant.
5:00 pm Dinner at Milwaukee restaurant with Mayor of Brookfield, WI.
SEPT. 18
7:00 - 9:00 am Breakfast served in lobby of hotel, followed by time to work on group presentations.

10:00 - 11:30 am Abbott corporate visit with presentation by Divisional Vice President and head of Public Affairs.
11:30 am Coach transportation to Chambers Hall, Northwestern campus.
12:00 - 12:45 pm Catered Lunch at Chambers Hall.
12:45 - 2:00 pm Northwestern campus tour with time to visit bookstore and buy NU souvenirs.
2:00 - 5:00 pm “"Consumer Insight”," Professor Bobby Calder, Ph.D. Kellogg, Northwestern.
5:00 pm Bus transportation to Professor Caywood’'s home.
5:30 - 8:00 pm Barbecue dinner at Caywood's’ home.
8:30 pm Time to work on case in groups at the hotel.
SEPT. 19
7:00 - 8:15 am Breakfast in lobby of hotel.
8:15 am Bus transportation to Northwestern Chambers Hall.
9:00 - 11:00 am "“’Customer Focus’: Taking Marketing to the Next Level",” Professor Don Schultz, Ph.D. IMC Department, Northwestern University.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm Final preparation for group presentations.
12:00 - 1:00 pm Catered Lunch.
1:00 - 3:00 pm Group presentations with discussion led by Clarke Caywood and Jim Carey.
3:00 - 4:00 pm Closing ceremony.
4:00 - 5:15 pm Time on your own in downtown Evanston.
5:15 pm Bus pick up on corner near Evanston Library. Coach transportation to Pine Yard restaurant.
6:00 - 9:00 pm Celebration dinner at Pine Yard restaurant.
SEPT. 20
7:00 - 7:45 am Breakfast in lobby of hotel.
7:45 am Coach transportation to O’'Hare airport.
10:50 am Departure.
